1948 Fleetmaster Coupe. Lots of slop in the steering. Steering box itself seems fine but the pitman arm is another story. This is one of those two piece pitman arms that was used 1939-1948. The part of the arm that attaches to the box moves with the shaft but the part that goes to the tie rod slides until it catches on the side nubs. Can I rebuild this and if so, what parts do I need? Also, if I remove the arm, are there other parts that I should consider replacing? See video here

There are four hard rubber bushings between the two halves of the arm. They are available from the FillingStation. Commom to find the rubber rottd away due tothe lubricantleakingout ofthe steering gear.
