Hi,

Hope to find a solution for my 48 Fleetline Aerosecan. Looking for a quality source for my driver's side and passenger side roll-down windows seals? I'm not sure what's available that fits and works correctly. There are aftermarket rubber seals installed now, but the windows are super challenging to roll up. It appears they were just stuck in between the glass and screwed into the door. The factory brush-like seals are still in place but naturally highly worn. I'm sure they were not made for the car and somewhat of a hack and installed when I purchased the 48. Is there an amicable aesthetic solution that YOU have done?

Thanks for the links, and welcome. Strange, I didn't get a notification that someone responded to this thread. Oh well. Have you personally used the window 'bottom channel' product? Sure hate dropping money if it doesn't work correctly, including aesthetically.

Yes, I personally rebuilt all four of my doors with the "kits" that CoTF's offered. The kits included all the stuff needed for the roll-up windows. I got the weather strip for the vent windows from Steele.

Think this is what you are asking about but it seems they are out of stock right now.

Looks like Steele has it. https://www.steelerubber.com/beltline-weatherstrip-70-0555-58

Many of the “soft” parts I have received from Chev of the 40’s are in Steele packaging. I now often order directly from Steele.

So how did you fasten them to the doors? Any tips on making them look proper installation-wise on a 48 Aerosedan?
