My car has incorrect cloth material installed on it.I want to do the replacement job as close to the original installation as possible. The information in the four ninety brochure says it was a tailored mohair top.I saw a 1916 Chevrolet touring on google at a auction and it looks to be a original survivor. It had tan cloth and a round rear window. What color was the cloth tan or black ? What size diameter is the rear window ? Do you have the dimension for the height of the window ? Is there a trim piece around the window ? How does the cloth material attach to the front bow above the windshield ? Does it have a trim piece to cover the nails that attach the cloth to the front of the bow ? What type of cloth was used to cover the individual four bows located beneath the cloth covering ? What type of cloth material was used to make the three straps that were used to align the individual four bows beneath the cloth top ? I would appreciate any information you can provide.
