Hi everyone,
Is there a bell housing that will allow me to install a 250 chevy 6 into a 48 chevy keeping the rest of the 48 chevy drive line (tran, torque tube etc)?

It is unlikely that the exact bell housing exists for your application. You should start with the proper housing for your engine and investigate the possibility of drilling it to match the transmission. Keep in mind the importance of the bearing retainer piloting into the housing to keep everything centered. Main Drive Gear (pilot shaft) length and spline count will be important factors in your project. Also the size of the pilot tip of the shaft. Good luck.

Thanks Mike, I was afraid of that, can I upgrade to a newer trans (54?) that still uses the torque tube or will that be the same bell housing from the 216?
I'm trying not to have to do rear axle as I have never changed one out before, but I thinking I'm going to be learning how to make this work.

The 250 is a member of the 3rd generation of Chevy 6 cylinder engines. The bell housing pattern matches Chevy engines produced after 1954.
Maybe the question is whether the 1954 or earlier transmission is compatible with 250 bell housing.
