Hi to all,
I have recently bought a 1928 Chev Touring and just registered with the group. Thank you for adding me.
I would appreciate a recommendation for the best workshop manual. I would prefer a hard copy but I live in Coodanup Western Australia and suspect an on line copy will be easier to come by.
I also have a 1923 Engine with the SImms C4 Magneto still attached so it would be good if the Manual covered that as well. If that is not possible perhaps someone can make a separate recommendation for those items

Welcome to Chatter.
I dont know of any hard copy manuals here on the east coast of Aus but there is a online manual that covers most pre war Chevs but I cant remember the full name of the site but if you google "online manual project" it should come up or someone that knows the correct site may chime in here later.

The Filling Station shows reprints of owners and shop manuals for your car in their on line catalog.

If you need help, I live about 60km from you and own a 1928 Chev roadster. The old car man8ual project has a 27 manual which is very close for free viewing online. There is a computer CD which covers a number of Chev 4s or the nard copy 28 manual which is reproduced available from Chev 4 parts suppliers or eBay.
