Just bought a Restomod 1957 Chevy truck. Found the VIN tag in console. It matches with the title. Where exactly does it attach. Any picture would be helpful. I've knocked them off before while sanding in door opening on a hardtop. I just painted door opening and siliconed them back on. Always holds good and looks clean so that's what I'm going to do with this truck VIN.

The VIN tag should be spot welded to the LH cab windshield pillar. I'll try and post a picture of mine here shortly.
