On my 34 Master the tube running from the Engine to the Temp. Gauge has some material on it. I assume this is to insulate the heat to the Temp. Gauge. Mine does not have any left as it was hard and flaked off. Does anyone know of something I can put back on this tube? I know that there used to be a material you mixed up like putty and when it dried it became hard. Does this still exist?

Here are pictures of a new, old stock 1936-39 heat guage assembly. Your 1934 should be similar. Note that there is some black tubing on only a small portion of the brass tubing.

You may be right. I don't know how much of the tubing was covered. Maybe only a short distance under the Dash. My 33 has some but none on my 34 or 35 and I know they had some at one time.

So looking at a 35 Standard NOS Gauge it looks like it's a rubber "sleeve" and not a hard insulating material and only for a short distance. So maybe that's all there is supposed to be? That being said, does anyone know where I might find some tubing that small?

I got some WW tubing. Looks like it will work. Must split it first.
