One negative is the cost in comparison to the benefit. For the price there are other things I would like to have for my ride.

I don't know of anyone that has put radials on a stock '28 Chevy. Because of the width of the tread and tire pressure I doubt there would be much difference. Most of us run at least 35 psi in the bias ply tires to reduce the tendency to wander.
