Thanks for accepting me into VCCA. I have owned Chevrolets all my life. My grandfather did as well, buying a new one every year for a time. Today I have a few Chevys. 1929 truck, 1949 Styline, 1950 "tin woody", 1965 C-10 short step "hot Rod, 1966 long step daily driver, 1965 Corvair convertible, and a couple newer ones.
My question today is was there a rear bumper on a 1929 1/2 ton pick up? My guess is that if there was, it was dealer installed. And most likely a car style.

Dougs348 Welcome to Chatter, you have a long history with Chev.
I havent had anything to do with the trim on the 29 trucks but I am sure there is someone on this forum the can inform us all.

I don't know of a rear bumper on 1929 trucks. If there were any it would have been aftermarket as I am not aware of Chevrolet listing one anywhere in the period literature. My recollection is 1935 Suburban and Panel trucks had rear bumpers available.

How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
