the restoration of this Argentina-built 34 roadster was started by a deceased member of our local AACA chapter. the original engine was professionally rebuilt and sounds great( bill to rebuild engine said to exceed 10K). all engine accessories were rebuilt or replaced with original parts. clutch and pressure plate new. tranny and differential rebuilt. new wood kit installed in body and looks professional. doors fit well. rumble seat fits but right rear quarter panel will need adjustment(its 1/4" too far outboard of rumble seat lid. its got 5 powder coated wire wheels and new coker whitewalls with blue preservative on the tires intact. the gauges were sent out by the previous owner and the invoice states about 2500 spent on the gauges. the previous owner elected to convert this originally right hand drive chevy to left hand drive. he saved most of the parts to make it right hand drive again . i dont care to spend the time pulling the engine, switching to the right hand drive bellhousine and throw out fork(which goes with the car). there is a new wiring harness installed. brakes and wheel bearing all replaced. seats have been re-upholstered.new exhaust system installed. re-cored radiator. the car still has its right hand drive dashboard in place as well as the restored gauges. hood and its trim installed as well as running boards and doors. rumble seat lid installed with nos handle. tail-lights installed--all new repo's and fit well. this 34 master can be driven around our farm. have title in hand. body work has been started-some areas have excessive bond applied over dents(under rumble lid the mud is about 1/4" thick--they didn't pound out the dent. the previous owners relative told me the PO had over 50K invested when he passed away. 20K OBO. mike mccagh call or text 3017770089.
Beware of scammer who attempted with me. he sends 1/2 asking price plus what its gonna cost to transport to his place. says i have to pay transporter his due. anyway, check for 1/2 plus shipping arrives. i warn my bank it may be a bouncer.2 days later the $ was posted to my account. then scammer requests a copy of the bank deposit so he can notify the shipper. 7 days later the check bounces. i still have the car for sale. mike
Had a similar situation on my 97 Camaro. But the guy was going to pay me an extra 500.00. I never followed thru because the money never showed up in my Pay Pal account even though I got a bogus e-mail saying it was there.. Those guys are pretty slick!
