Many of us saturate the felt pad on the valve train and then every 100 miles or so give a squirt or two. More important to fill pockets on head 1/2 full.

The Filling Station sells replacement oil filters for $100. Oil the rocker oil pad about every few hundred miles.

Hi smiley1928.

Welcome to the VCCA's website! This is the best place to hob knob with vintage Chevy souls!!

Here's a post that I made in another thread that contains what I do for lubrication in general and for every drive: https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/topics/442882/re-28-engine-specs.html#Post442882

Cheers, Dean
