I know this is not Chevrolet related but thought it would be of interest to a lot of you. Hope I did this correctly and you can open the site.
Amazing story!

Driving our antique cars home from a car show In Saratoga Springs NY we stopped at a museum in Cortland NY. It turned out to be a GREAT museum and the 29 Brockway Fire Truck in the attached story was on display along with other Brockway trucks in one section of the museum. Two other sections were just as interesting. Well worth seeing if ever in the area.

You are welcome. I can't imagine doing that. What an adventure for them. I assume their home town had more fire trucks while these guys were driving the Brockway back to New York.

I agree with Dean. I would also guess there are not many vehicles that have similar story to tell.
