What color should the brackets be that mount the bellhousing to the frame? Blue like the bellhousing?

Also, the locking clips that go on the bellhousing bolts there? Were those natural or painted?

I have seen some black and others engine color. Black look better in my opinion but most of mine have been restored engine color.

Thanks Chipper. When my dad did his cabriolet he painted them black also.

What about the locking clips?

I think the clips were black as well. Think even if the supports are engine color the clips would have been black.
