Is this a Chevrolet Accessory or an after market item? What year/years would this be for?

I'm pretty sure that's for 1953 & '54. The reproductions had blue paint in the lowered area, so this may be original.

Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet.

The 1950-1952 is cast and the 1953-54 is staMped with less detail.
I have a real nice slightly used 1953-54 and does not have a Bow Tie ib the center.
I will ned to ook at my 1950 later today.\
An original will also hace an inner deflector to keep the heat away from the cASTING.
