I received a renewal via Email and when I try to sign in it prompts me to change my password. I stay logged in to the forum so I know my password is good. Is there a way to renew from the home page?

Chat and the home page are different entities. Each requires a separate log in. It would be nice if a single log in worked for both.

You can use the same password for both. Unless it's been changed, logging on to one doesn't automatically log you on to the other.

just make sure you know which one you are changing, you can always change either

Yup, I do. Keeps it simpler for my simple mind.

Cheers, Dean

A word of caution about this password practice. Internet pranksters and worse, love people to do that very thing. It makes their “job” much easier. In the past month, me and others I know, have received urgent warnings from monitoring service providers indicating several of the internet sites frequented had some of our login info compromised. Better safe than sorry, use different passwords. Oh by the way, this website was one of those included in the advisory.
