Tiny, No. I haven't seen one of those today. Neither have I seen a 1937 nor a 1938 Chevrolet running today. The ones I've seen though seem to run about the same as this here Lanz Bulldog. Does that count? Thanks for posting. Best, Charlie

Hi Tiny,
What might not be clear from the video is the reason the engine had to run both directions. The transmission has no reverse gears.
I saw quite a few of those in my days with Deere. Deere bought Lanz in 1956 so gradually the Lanz name and the 2 cycle engine disappeared through evolution of the technology for tractors and the market.
Last fall on the Southern fall Tour we visited a friend who at one time had at least 30 Lanz tractors.
