A dozen or more years ago I purchased the FS brake adjusting tool…and used it. Now I desire to return to step one and go all the way through the system. However, after extensive searching through my 1931 Chevrolet paper accumulation, I cannot find the instruction sheet for said tool. Could someone either email me a copy, post the instructions here, or direct me to some other source?
Thank you.

Repair Manual
Service News ( I have 1928-1930 )

Bills 1931 Page has basic Instructions (https://1931chevrolet.com/specs12.htm)
Hopefully someone on here has a copy (Maybe Chistech has one)

not sure if 1930 and 1931 are the same or not

It should be the same as 32 (if not, someone will let us know),look in a 32 repair manual starting on page 122. Maybe you can find that section of the book on line. If not PM me and I'll try to get a copy of that section printed and uploaded somehow.

Thank you all for the help. The posting with the picture from Dave sort of put things together for me since I have that also. I now know where I am at and have plenty of pages of instructions as to how to adjust things at this point. I believee that is all the instructions that came with the tool…you know a picture equals 1000 words. As it turns out the setting is spot on so on to the next steps.

I will be doing the same thing soon when I assemble the chassis of a 30’ four door I started. I have that same tool to set the cross shaft.
