standard 10w-30 nothing special

no additional additives either link zddp or the such needed

everything out there today is far superior to what they used back then

I think most here would agree with BearsFan.

I use LUCAS 10W-30 detergent oil on my rebuilt '32 Conferderate's 194 engine.

It has a little more ZDDP (861 ppm) than most of the other top brands. I feel that much can't hurt anything and just might help reduce wear.




If it ain't broke…..fix it 'til it is.
