I am looking for a good picture of the windshield lower cross bar where it attaches to the "A" pillar (front view). Also does anyone have a measurement from the bottom of the metal bracket (one side mounts to the "A" pillar and the top of the bracket bolts to the windshield lower cross bar) to the side sill. I need the measurement from the bottom of the bracket where it mounts to the windshield cross bar to the side sill. Hope I didn't make it too confusing. Any help appreciated.

I just got back in town last nite and have some pics from a D. Taylor. They were helpful but not real clear. Thank you for checking back with me. There were no pictures in my junk file nor email from gofish02. The ones I did receive look as if I have some other problems at the windshield crossbar. Is it possible to get a measurement from the bottom of the bracket where it mounts to the windshield cross bar to the side sill? I have attached 2 pictures of mine. From the pics I received it looks like the dash is sitting on top of the crossbar and on mine it sits about 1/4 in. above it. the pieces of the original "A" pillars I have indicate that my dash bracket holes ar where they are supposed to be.

i can get these measurements for you. I just took my car back to the painter to do some touch up that he needed to do. I will have them for you by weeks end. I do not have my interior installed, that comes next. I will try the picture again shortly. Very sorry they did not come through. I think they will help you a lot.

Can anyone assist me with the following information for a 32 Special 4 door? All are drivers inside to passengers inside measurements.
1. (a) measurement between "A" pillars (inside drivers to inside passengers) at the metal header.
(b) at the top of the windshield lower cross bar at the "A" pillar (inside drivers to inside passengers).
(c) at the main side sill at the floor level of the "A" pillar (inside drivers to inside passengers).

2. (a) at the crown roof rail at the metal header
(b) at the center of the "B" Pillar

3. Underside of the crown roof rail to main side sill at the metal header (L & R sides).

I really appreciate anyone's help.

My best suggestion is to locate a member close to you and pay him/her a visit. I would be glad to take measurements from my car (as I have done previously) but not sure they would be what you need. If YOU make the measurements then you will have what you want. Getting accurate measurements from a car such as mine that does not have original wood may also be a problem. Send me your phone number in a PM and i will call you to see if I can help.

All Interested,

I hoped to have my car back for the painter by now and I still don't have it. He says I can get it this weekend but i've heard the same thing for over a month. Just as soon as I get it back I will give yo all the measurements from my car and any additional photos you may need. I plan on starting the interior installation just as soon as I get it back. this will begin to cover things up.
Like Steve said, my wood is not original and the measurements may be different. I can tell you the kit I received 3 yers back is spot on. Installing it was another time consuming learning experience.

Very sorry for the delay guys.

I spoke with Neil and will get some measurements even though my interior is installed. I think the measurements without the interior will be better but a comparison could be beneficial.
