I am looking for a 27 exhaust manifold but am not to hopeful. I was considering making my own but not sure of best material, stainless or mild steel. I am unsure of the heat expansion effect on the block by using something other than cast iron. Any ideas? Anyone ever have to "roll their own" exhaust manifold?

Is your engine the late 27 with the 2 port exhaust manifold or the early engine with the single port exhaust manifold in the center of the head?

Were all Superior & AA exhaust manifolds the same. I have one but I'm not sure what year it is from. It has a 2" end that the muffler attaches to.

All 490 thru 1927 passenger cars (AA) used shorter exhaust manifold #345446. 1927 One ton (LM) uses #351013 which is slightly longer. The carb heat riser attaches to manifold and after an elbow, the muffler. Many old cars had no exhaust pipe beyond the muffler. Unless you like breathing carbon monoxide, I would recommend extending a pipe from the muffler behind the axle out the far side of the vehicle, if you plan to drive farther than the show grounds.
