My 1936 1-1/2 ton platform stake side bed originally came with a hinged center section on each side. I recently scored the correct hinges to restore this feature to my truck. The hinges came without the original pull pins. The pins are a bit unusual in that they have a large loop which makes them easy to pull and which also loops around into a clip to secure them.I would like to buy or borrow one of these original pins so that I can duplicate a full set for my truck.
If any one has a pin or a possible lead on pins, I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks.

Mike

How long were they used,a local junkyard has a 41-6 that might have the racks still on it.

Jeff,
According to the parts book, the pin was in use at least through 1951. I'm assuming even later because it is a 1951 parts catalog. I would buy a pin or all of the pins, if they have them.

That yard has a couple flatbeds but I think only one with the racks and how many pins do you need if any are still on and the same type.
