I am in need of some pictures of 1930 cowl lights. I bought some, but I am not sure if they are correct.

Thank you

I’ll get a few pictures of mine tomorrow... My car is located a few miles away. 30’s have a somewhat frosted lens, black shell and chrome/stainless trim ring. There’s a teardrop shaped mount to the cowl also. My Aug 1930 Master Parts Price List shows 2 different cowl lights for the 29 (I) and 30 (U). The picture shows a tubular (?) type mount for the 29 cowl light which is different from the 30 which has a more aerodynamic fairing around the bolt to the cowl.

The cowl lights look like miniature 1930 head lights

Up until this point I would have thought '30 cowl lights were the same as '29, but it looks they mount quite differently. I have seen that style on a late '29 roadster but they may have been installed at a later date. They mount in a totally different manor than my conv land sedan which is early '29. Art

I cant say definitively these are original but from the lights themselves match parts book drawings and the mounts are what was on the car when I got it.

Those are definitely 1930 cowl lights. And the chrome plated bases and lens rims are also correct. Only the body was painted black.

I've driven my car almost 30,000 miles
