39 master delux...All of a sudden when i put the lights on "L" my blinkers don't work. When lights off they work fine. This is a recent development. Thoughts on where to troubleshoot? Blinkers are the typical after market set up from Chevs 40. Thanks

My first thought would be a poor ground at ether the headlight or turn signal.

I agree on the diagnosis of bad ground on left headlight.

I agree something isn't grounded. As those cars did not come with blinkers, and I have not seen what kind of a kit ChevsOfThe40s sells for them, it is hard to guess. Where do the blinkers mount and what do they ground to?

What does that mean? Low beam? Do the blinkers also quit on high beam? How about with the parking lights?
