Hi,
I have this old transmission box which used be handling the gears of my grandfather's self made lathe. Now I've been told that it's originally from 1925-1928 Chevrolet car. Can you confirm that?

Regards
Pekka

Hi Pekka,

Welcome to the VCCA's website. ;-)

Are there any casting numbers on the transmission? Those numbers will help identify it.

Cheers, Dean

If the first photo number is 590204 (tough to tell if the 2nd number is a 0 or a 9 ), then I have 25 (X2) & 26 (X2) transmissions with those numbers on the cases.
