I have two pieces that go in the clutch/brake area of the transmission but I don't know the exact orientation. I'll bet there is a 28 expert that will quickly recognize the parts and how they are supposed to be assembled. thank you in advance

The black item is the '28 clutch/brake pedal(s) released position stop. The unit is installed on the clutch/brake pivot rod between the two pedals with the longitudinal surface turned flange on the bottom. When installed the unit is horizontal and parallel to the clutch pedal return spring. The oblong hole should rest against the vertical surface of an embossment on the bell housing. A single bolt with a flat washer that has a tongue holds the item to the bell housing. The washer with tongue keeps the unit centered. Adjust the stop and tighten the bolt.

The second item I'm not familiar with. It might be '28 truck but I've not seen it on a '28 passenger car.

Below is a photo of the pedal stop doohickey that is on my '28 Canopy Express (which has the same chassis as a car).

I looked around under my truck and did not see a match to the item on the right above.

The 2nd part is the brake pull rod equaliser for either a 1928 LP 1 ton truck or a 1929 LQ 1 1/2 ton truck
