I need to re-cover the Exterior Sun Visor Covering on my 1928 Coach. I see that it was wrapped in a black material and stitched on the the 2 short sides
What type of material was the visor covered with?
Was there any adhesives used when securing the cover?
And where would I find the material?

Also, if anyone has recovered one of these, do you have any other tips?

I did mine with the same fabric as my top. A marine vinyl. Due to the angle underneath, I did use adhesive. However, I DID NOT test the compatibility first and found the adhesive dissolving my paint. . The result was..... well after I redid it and applied the adhesive to the bare metal, it did much better.
