We had a very spring like day today so I took my wife for a ride in the recently purchased 32 sedan. We put about 35 miles on and stopped for ice cream along the way. What a great way to enjoy the car and the day.

I bought an award wining show stopper of a 32 2dr Confederate. I have spent the last three years driving the wheels off of it. It now has a couple of chips on the front. The formerly immaculate undercarriage now has dirt, dust, and crusty zirk fittings. The driver's seat has developed a noticeable list to the right. We just got back from the grocery store with a stop at the VFW. He sits patiently at the curb waiting my return. He takes me home. What a wonderful intuitive old car Virgil is. I love him like the G'pa he represents.

We have enjoyed driving our old Chevrolets the past 50+ years. Others also appreciate the work and dedication to preserving a little bit of history. They are nice in a garage or museum but much nicer on the road.

How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
