What have you guys been doing with the original window and windshield glass? I believe none of the OE glass is safety glass or laminated. Any kits or suppliers you are aware of?
Thanks

Purchased local using my old glass for patterns. If you have replaced wood and or seals around the dash/cowl area the windshield may need to be trimmed for fit.

Bob's Classic Auto Glass. 541-925-3260 Great company and they had the patterns for my 32 sedan.

Good luck,

i still have my original glass, all of the glass in my 1929 was replaced by a local shop up north that used original as patterns and then trimmed to fit.

I used a local glass supplier/fabricator, told them the type of glass, dimensions, edge finishing, etc. and ended up costing me about $35 per window, the luxury of flat glass! If I remember correctly, the front windshield was 1/4" laminated, doors were 1/4" safety glass with a polished pencil edge finish and rear window was 3/16" safety/tempered glass.

If you are getting new seals/weather-stripping, I would recommend comparing that to the original in case you need to adjust your glass dimensions. I had to cut down my door windows ~1/8" narrower to account for the difference in the weather-stripping.
