I have wanted to do this article for some time, but time did not permit. Now, circumstances beyond my control have given me more shop time.

The article is a "paper" study of the 7 different Carter aftermarket YF carbs for Chevrolet 235 CID sixes. I did not include those for the 216, as there is significantly less interest.

I am in the process of doing a "physical" study, where I will compare throttle arms, bottom plates, air cleaner arrangements, distributor port arrangements, etc. This study will be done with pictures, which will be added to the current article.

Carter YF aftermarket carburetors for Chevrolet 235 CID

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hubcap than ride in a Ferd.
