What color paint should be used for the dash? Should it be shiny or flat?

I would like to follow up on that. Does anybody know what the colors were on a 1936 FA Master. Possibly what modern colors would match the originals. The main dash of the original appear to be some variant of a chocolate brown and the area around the instruments were a darker brown of some kind. They may also have had a variant of metal flake in them. Any help with trying to match these colors would be appreciated.
