BearsFan, Good work as usual. I have a couple questions about the process. 1) Did you design the stand yourself, or are there plans somewhere around here? I'm going to need a stand soon. 2) You do an exceptional job photographing and documenting your work, Thank you for the contribution. And for leaving your pictures up. 3) Could I too, have those pictures you took of engine aprons? Mine are crinkled up from a couple ancient accidents when it was a farm car back in Kansas.
I did design and build the engine stand that i use for my 194 6cyl
i did the 3d design work and made up a fab drawing for me to build on from.
i can post up a PDF of the engine stand for the engine, as well as the one that i am using which is the long version to hold the engine and transmission as an assembly

also i secured everything together EXCEPT for the transmission support block, found it easier to screw this in place when i needed it/had transmission bolted up. when only the engine was on the stand did not need it there.
