I’m a rookie on 46’s, have done later model vehicles that I grew up with and understood how they should look. So, are there assembly manuals for a 46? Sources for how the interior and dash should look? Source for interior with LeBaron Bonney gone? Someone that has been there and done that that would give me a bit of guidance? Any help appreciated!

There are no assembly manuals for a 1946. Would recomend going to the Fillling Station catalog and ordering a shop manual, owners manual, parts book and sales lierature for 1946.Should be less than $100 for all.

Tony, one thing to be sure to do - take pictures of EVERY step you make in the disassembly of the car. And when you think you have covered it all, take some more from different angles and distances. It might be months, or even years, before you get to the same point in the assembly process. The pictures will save many hours of frustration and aggravation of trying to remember exactly which piece went where and how it was fastened. Good luck with your project - and don't hesitate to ask questions here, for we're all here to help each other as best we can.

Thank you! What would you suggest on finding proper interior material?

might try SMS auto fabrics. They matched the material for my 51.
