Can anyone help me relative to Decals that were on the 216 engine that originally came with the 1939 chevrolet JC pickup? Thanks for your help.

I do not believe there were any decals on the engine in 1939. The decals started later...
1938 Canadian Pontiac Business Coupe (aka a 1938 Chevy Coupe with Pontiac shaped front sheet metal - almost all Chevy!)
