I did the same last week and just in time as it snowed a foot here in southern N.H. near the Ma. border. Hardly a drop in the bucket compared to the FOUR FEET they got just 60 miles north of us. The ski area there loved it and reported getting up to 4" per hour. I found it a good time to build my 51 rear tranny mount and repair some 32 mounts .

Mike That would work! Except it doesn't look like this truck has ever seen road salt. No rust!
I used to occasionally put a set of angle bar chains on my 1976 fleetside short box Chev truck. Two wheel drive. I swear the only thing that would stop that thing was if you hung it up on a really hard snow drift. So you still had to carry a long handled shovel in case you needed to dig out under the truck! :-)
