My 56 is in need of a new door latch and I need to have a shop do this repair. My question is what kind of shop does this. I have no desire to do this on my own. 1. auto repair shop. 2.body shop. 3. trim shop. 4. auto glass shop 5. ? 6. open to all suggestions.  Thank You.

That's a tricky one unless one knows your neighbourhood shops. The most useful place would likely be a hotrod type shop that does restorations and custom work. They would be most likely to appreciate and understand your car and work on it carefully. The second choice would be a body shop. Again, you want to find one that has been around the block and back so experience working on and finding parts for you.

Thanks canadiantim ,Found a body & paint shop that's been in business for 41 years. They told me no problem bring it in , I'll be taking it there. BE SAFE !
