What are the steps in adjusting the points on the horns. I also need to replace the wire that goes from the horns to the wiring block on the inner fender panel. Is number 10 wire the correct size? wazzup

If the wire feeds only one horn 12 ga. is sufficent--If it feeds both horns 10 ga. is best. The horn adjustment on a 50+ year old unit will be by trial and error.Try setting either way -more or less gap - till horn tone sounds correct.

Chevgene,

Thanks for the kind words. The original owner, a now 98 year old lady, had it repainted "white" in the early 40's after a near collision. "white" actually turned out to be 1941 Cameo Cream. I liked the color so much, I repainted Sweetie Pie Cameo Cream. Her original color was Battleship Gray. :)
