Hi Joe,
Welcome to the VCCA's website! This is the best place to hob knob with folks who love old Chevys.
Since I'm on the west coast, I don't have any info about mechanics in Ohio. I suggest that you contact our Central Ohio Region. The contact is Rob Griffith in Hebron, OH. His email address is robgriffith62@yahoo.com
Cheers, Dean

Give Babbit Pot a call at 518-747-4277. They are located in the Glens Falls region of NYS. I have spoke to them on rebuilding the 1929 194 as they are known for doing babbit bearings.
Don't let a day go by that you don't attempt to learn something new.

Ron's Auto Machine Shop in Shandon OH, near Cincinnati, specializes in T and A Fords, but rebuilds others as well. Good reputation in the Ford camp. 513-738-7353

I gotta give a plug for these guy's http://eastwoodsautomachine.com/Not only is it a good machine shop they are just good people. Maybe a little far for you but I'm sure you'll have no problems. As a bonus they will do a run test for you if you supply them all the components. When you get it back just drop it in and turn the key.
