Could some please be able to send me some photos of the internal parts on a 1939 Accessory Steering Wheel. Mine was not working correctly and when I pulled it apart it had a lump of brass in there with masking tape wrapped around it for insulation, This I know is not correct, If I can see what the original parts look like I will try and make them.

I have just about all the 1939 literature available and no pictures of the "works". I would suspect you would need to find the original installation instructions that came with the accessory.

Thanks Gene for that information.
Here in Australia any information on original accessories is virtually non-existent.
If there is anyone who has this information and would be happy to scan and send to me, I would greatly appreciate it.
