Hey everyone, I have a 35 standard coach. What size stainless screws do I use to attach them to the window frames? I have seen many for sale, #6, #8, #10 etc. 1" long, 1 1/4", 3/4", etc.

Peter, I can not remember what size screws are in there, and I can not get to my car right now to see. I used stainless steel screws from Bolt Depot and buffed the heads.

Someone correct me if I am wrong; Phillips screws weren't used in 1935.

Peter you just listed all the sizes from FS! Your best bet is to try different screw sizes to see what’s the best size and fit! Once you find the best fit buy a box of 50 for about $8 at McMaster Carr! Here’s the link for #8 Oval heads 316 SST sheet metal screws!

You can change the size that is needed! Once you are happy with the size I would buff out the screw head to make it look like chrome! Oh the O.C.D. Purists would possibly say that this is not factory original and deduct points of at the car show!

I found on my 36 standard that the garnish moulding screws were #8 with a #6 oval slotted head. Never could find those so I used stainless #8 and ground the heads down and polished as others have done. Don't remember length but that can vary depending on location of screw.
