I have a 34 Master and have bought new running board mats. I have not found a source for the clips that go through the backing plate and fasten to the running board. Anyone know a supplier?

I do not know of a supplier. The one I had went out of business. I was successful in making my own.

On my '35 Standard, the clips are spot welded to the bottom of the backing plate. I think this was the case with all Chevys of the period. A clip that came through the plate would leave a hump in the mat.
