Hi All, I have removed the radiator and grille shell from the front of my 32 Chev to perform some work. There is a bracket / support that this assembly mounts to the also runs under the fender for support. Unfortunately the center section is completely rotted out. I have searched high and low for this part, calling it everything I think it would be named and can't even find where Chevy or anyone else in the world even admit that this part exists. I have gone through my body manual, master parts book and spent hours on the google machine. 1. Does anyone know what this part is called? 2. Where can I find this seemingly no existent part?

Thanks for any help you can offer. This will hold up the reassembly process until I can find what and where this part is.

Best

Is it the sort of square pipe that is like a wide "U" with wings (going left and right) and the radiator mounts on it?

If it is the sq. tube that extends from side to side it is composed of three pieces and listed as ; support, front fender , left outer, right outer , and center.

Great! Thanks for the info. That is the piece I am talking about. I couldn't tell that it is actually 3 pieces. Any idea on where I can find the 3 pieces? Thanks again for the help!

Put an ad in the parts wanted forum. I know I have seen reproductions advertised before but can not locate any at this time. The Filling Station (541-258-2114) www.fillingstation.com and I found this on line https://www.vintagepartsclub.com/1929-34/ The Filling Station list a center support RW-372 in their catalog..

Normally the center is the one that rusts out due to radiator leaks, leaves on the front cross member, etc. Might see if the repop from the Filling Station is all you need.

I have seen the center support on e-bay at times as well as the fender support that bolts to it (there are 2, 1 left and 1 right).

Thanks for all the help! I'll post an ad and keep looking. I could not locate part # RW-372 on the Filling Station website. I will give them a call. That https://www.vintagepartsclub.com/1929-34/ website looks like a place I will be spending some money at in the near future. Great to see there are still great part suppliers for these old cars. Thanks again!

Ok... Just talked to Steve at the Filling Station and he said that this part is not currently reproduced and has not been for a while. Looks like the search continues. Tanks again for all the help!
