I have a 32 coupe that has black wheels to go with the Dove Grey and Ravenswood Brown paint code. I am painting an extra set of wheels green to give the car a different look after all these years. I have a reproduction Dulux color chart but I do not think the colors are very accurate. Does anyone have apple green wheels that they can send me a picture of ?
I know I have asked this question before, but who still mixes the original colors in modern urethane ? Hibernia no longer sells paint for vintage cars.

I see Apple green wheels are a 31 color but I would not mind that as any green was really not correct for my color combination. 1932 colors appear to be Karnak Green, Ocean Green, Senegal Green and Aqua Green. I would love to examples of any ot these colors too.

The Wayne Martin paint equivalent list shows a 1975 Volvo Code 118 Light/Berkshire Green as a Good-Excellant match for Apple Green Dulux 211. The paint manufacture codes for the Volvo green are: ACME 91998, R-M 8502/V0068, duPont 43737. I do have a color chip for Apple Green in an orginal duPont Automotive DULUX "Special Shades for Wire Wheels of Chevrolet Cars" brochure.

Thanks for the info, I have a color card from the Acme White Lead and Color Works that shows apple green and the mix but I think the color has changed in time on the clip

Chevytech32, go to hot links at the top of the 29-32 forum. Click on #29. Ive had good luck with color matches.
They have good on phone tech support.
