Freezing rain and sleet all day today. I just got home from picking up a couple of prescriptions and so far the roads aren't bad except for bridges. That will change as the day goes on. Anything above ground is building ice. I had probably 1/4" on my truck by the time I got home. If it keeps going I might get to put the new Generac to the test. Good thing I picked up a new can of coffee last week.

Coffee and a generator is all you need lol...That's some nasty stuff to deal with as it can do a pile of damage. Stay inside. Would really suck to break something!
Even 90 would be uncomfortable but I'd tolerate it.

Meanwhile we were -20 overnight on the weekend. Norms are mid 50's so that really hurt. The leaves have been forced to fall off and are on top of the snow. Still better than Covid or wildfires. Pretty crazy times.

Freezing rain in Saskatchewan too.
At least we have the crop off the field up here.
Relatives in Minnesota still have half their corn out

Power went off at 11:15 and we're now on the new Generac. TV on, central heat on, computer on. All is good.
