The first question. Does anyone know were I can get that little metal piece that slides in the brackets where the wires go to the headlights. Its used to connect the bracket for the horns.
Second question does anyone know where you can get that lighting switch thats behind the knob. The one I have is fried.

Thank you.

Chevghost, I'm a little surprised no one's picked up your question yet. It may be helpful to first mention what year and model you have.

It may also help to clarify the first question. Would you mean the bolt-on horn bracket that goes on the headlight mounting arm?

its a 1932 chevrolet confederate coach.
its not the mounting bracket that connects to the horns. its the metal piece that connects to the bracket. its 1/2 inch thick by 1 and a 1/2 inches long by three quarters inches wide with two screw holes taped into it. its cut like a a half round in a way. if I there was a way of putting a pic on here I would take a pic of it.
thanks for any help.

HI CHEVGHOST I took a piece of flat metal that I purchased at the hardware store and cut It to the right length, then used my grinder and tapered the sides and measured the distance between the two holes and drilled It out. I then tapped the holes for the screws to go into. With a little fooling around, You should be able to make them. Good Luck. :) :) chevy chevy chevy chevy :) :)

Ghost,
You can put a wanted ad on this site or in the G&D (if you are a member). There are switches out there, just need to find one. I may even have one in a box somewhere. Just don't ask were as the boss hasn't looked for it and I can't find my rear end without a mirror. I think Donald has the best source for the metal piece.

The horn bracket "nut" was reproduced many, many years ago by Don Rumbaugh in Southern, California, but I don't think that they have been available for quite some time now. At any rate, Chipper Dipper The Bugle Boy's answer was perfect, and that's what ya gotta do....make the horn bracket "nuts" yourself since they are simple to make. laugh laugh laugh
