This summer my daughter and I got our '41 5-passenger coupe up and running after 25+ years on blocks. This had been a father-son project when my dad bought the car in Seattle in the early 1970's.

For purposes of insuring it (and upgrading license) I needed an appraisal. After researching on this site, doing some Google searches, I went with Auto Appraisal Group (www.autoappraisal.com). First, I thought the overall experience, quality of the report, and valuation were great...the appraiser who came out was fun to 'talk cars' with, was thorough, explained the process etc. I feel that the report I received was also of good quality, a fair valuation (for insurance) given that the car is still a 'project car'/'driver'...with a ton of work still to do...but given that the car is road worthy and I may need to drive it for some work in the next phase (vs just throwing it onto a truck), I decided to appraise it, and insure/license it properly. So, long story, I'd feel very comfortable recommending AAG as a company someone might consider using if they are in need of these services.
