Anyone installed a back up camera in their car? If so can a 6 to12 volt accessory converter handle the power requirements for the unit? Thanks

I would think it would be no problem. All that stuff is solid state with a very small power draw. Look at the current requirements of the camera and compare it to the output of your step-up.
