Why do people post questions on the Forum and never return?

I think that shows a lack of courtesy. It is baffling too.
My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .

It's possible that they find the site thru a google search when looking to solve a problem. It can take them right to a forum and they can register without really knowing anything about the VCCA. Once they get an answer and have what they wanted to know they no longer have an interest. With no vested interest there is no reason to return and the next time an issue pops up they are back to doing a google search and may or may not hit upon the VCCA. As I look at the stats right now there are 7 registered members online-34 guests and 4 spiders. Registered members number 16,515 and i would guess only about 10% are VCCA members.

Case in point. A fellow wanted a set of radio pushbuttons. The ones he wanted are almost impossible to find. I have those pushbuttons and am willing to sell a set, however I have never heard back and my PM is still unread. Go figure!

I sometimes forget I have asked a question and discover it much later as I get distracted by other things, other people's posts and life in general. Now that I think about it, the notifications used to be way more frequent for both followed posts and Private Messages. Something has changed.

I think that shows a lack of courtesy. It is baffling too. Yes and it is not age related, old or young don't matter. Happens on a lot of forums.

no answer they move on
others post the same question on every forum they can find and never go back to them all cause they can not remember where they asked their question ?!?!

When I post a question if someone responds I get an Email saying so. Then I come back and respond. There are alot of questions asked that get no response.

I checked the "unanswered" post and it seems that all post that do not have a response whether a question is asked or not show up as "unanswered".
