Guys,
According to the service manual, instruction are given as to how to adjust the stops to lock the windshield by counting the clicks in the gears to five . It says there are 2 adjustment screws at the top of the board. I had to replace the board and I'm not sure where the adjusters should be place.
The hangers have slots, so I assumed this may be part of the adjustment. Again, I assume these top bolts or screws in the manual keep the board from moving up once you lock in the hangers? Any help is appreciated.

One other question; where can I find chrome plated conduits for the horns and head lights? The FS has some stainless but not chromed that Im aware of.

Steve

Most of the original horn and head light conduits were stainless steel. Some were plated brass.

i bought the ones from TFS for my 1929 and they are really nice, you can polish the stainless up if you so desire.

i am happy with them and look good with all the chrome on the front of the car as well.

Speaking with knowledge of the 31’ windshield regulator board, there are two lag bolt type screws used, one in each end on the top. These get unscrewed making contact with the roof upper end rail. They are adjusted with the windshield all the way down with the gears at their stop. You use them to put pressure on the windshield bottom edge for a good weather tight seal. Can’t adjust too much down pressure though, needs the happy medium.
