A couple of days ago I called a friend to be a “ guinea pig” and go for a test ride with me. We roared around and terrorized the neighborhood with open headers on the 235! Sounding like a low flying Cessna we made a few laps around several blocks of my community. Unfortunately I have to go back to the drawing board and work on shift linkage issues, I couldn’t get second or reverse due to the header clearances, even after making modifications. No big deal, just some more head scratching! But what a thrilling first ride. The car is a junkyard rescue and probably hasn’t been on the road since the ”˜50s. More updates as they come.
