Yesterday, i want to change the Beltline Window Felt om my Sliding Quarter Window. When i took out the Glas i saw that there is the same Probleme like on the Window regulator in the doors. I mean the window rollers on the picture. Did not find spare parts on Filling and chevs. Are the rollers the same as in the doors? I mean this one WINDOW_ROLLER_RIVET_516 Also i can´t find the clips for beltline on the upper side of the window area. On Filling i found this Window Seal . But i don´t see the old one or where the right place is for this?
Andre, I didn't use the clips, instead I riveted the felt weather strips in place and used a black magic marker to paint the heads of the rivets to hide them. Thanks for the email, I will answer it tomorrow.

Don´t understand this Master Parts Books. Whats going on there. In my 1929-1940 the 11.015 QUARTER Window Glass Wheatherstrip for my Build "401019" is L=4102329 and R=4102330. In Master Parts Catalog 1929-1950 there is a seal for 1939 and 1941, nothing for 1940 and the Part Numbers do not exist anymore?? But the number from the Chevs Seal with #4114958 39^53 is only in book 29-50 and only for Job 401027 (Coupe) on 41-48?? Think i don´t need this seal?!
Sorry for your luck at getting an answer to your question. Please update your post with some pictures to clarify what you need to know. Then consider sending PMs to Chev Nut (Gene), Mike Deeter, csKennedy10 (Kurt Kennedy). Kurt and Mike both have 1940's that they have restored and Gene should know someone else to help. You might also try the VCCA Advisor for 1940 Passenger Cars, his info is listed under Technical Assistance (Tech Advisors) on pg. 37 of the June Generator & Distributor magazine (Thomas Wolcott VCCA #04217, phone # 602-441-3696 Mountain Time Zone).
In the future I believe to bring notice to an old post I have seen the word "Bump" used not "Push."
I would like to remind whoever reads this post that Alligator (Andre) is in Germany doing a frame off restoration that has been going on for several years and has been a member of the chat site since 2012. He has also shared info, with a lot of pictures, in 430 posts. I have also noticed that as I have visited Germany, with my wife a retired German teacher, that I have seen nothing but the utmost respect for our old American cars which are displayed prominently at local car shows.
I am completely confused by the original thread. It pictures te sliding window parts and then a window regulator not used for the slider????
There is no weather strip for the sliding quarter window and it has a tray under it to catch the water and a drain tube. The 1941 parts book shows no weather strip for it.
@Gene - the window regulator picture is only a example to show wich rivets i mean. Did you not read the Text ? Your statement tells me that I'm not too stupid to find this seal. At the moment the car is standing by the upholsterer, so I couldn't look. @ Mike - Thanks for the Kind words. I am in Contact with Mike and Curt, but they don´t have Sliding Quarter Windows. The clamps I´ve bought from Chevs.
